Chef Charlie B

BBQ Loving Pats Fan & Marathon Runner

Chef Charlie is a quiet powerhouse. Being in the kitchen is his creative outlet. He’s been cooking since childhood and even through his (*gasp*) awkward teen years, where he would binge watch the cooking network and plow through cookbooks, cover to cover.

Give him 5 ingredients, a knife and a cutting board, and Charlie will make something delicious.

There is elegance in simplicity, and Chef Charlie can do a lot with a little. His first culinary influence was his Grandmother, known for her meatballs and gravy. He remembers learning how to make them, using fresh garlic, and wetting their hands in cold water between each one. #detailmatters

A leader in the kitchen

In his last career, Charlie was General Manager, overseeing both kitchen and dining room operations for three restaurant concepts. He directed over 100 employees and created menus at a bustling retirement community. Prior to that, he was the General Manager of a Mexican restaurant in Boston, where he oversaw 75+ employees, both front and back of house.

Italian, Slow cooking & BBQ are his favorites

“For our honeymoon, my wife and I hiked through the Tuscan Countryside, tasted wine and had some of the most memorable dishes of my life.”

Oh, and he’s a 3-time marathon runner who has completed four 100-mile relay races with a team of 6. So he is well versed in eating for health, endurance and performance. He lives by the saying, “I run so I can eat!”

When he’s not running (far too much, in our opinion), you’ll find him with his wife and silly Boxer/Great Dane mix named Cash.
