Hi! I’m Chef Bernadette!

I ditched the Art History academic track to attend Culinary School at the CIA - best move ever!

For me, cooking started with the Better Homes & Gardens Ground Beef Cookbook: “Meatloaf with Ketchup Core & Whipped Mashed Potato Frosting” and has brought me to so many memorable places.

I blend my Filipino-American roots with my Texas childhood, CIA training, and NYC sensibilities. I live and breathe food!

One memorable moment of my career? Just one? Breaking the sauté station record at Bobby Flay’s Bolo for the most paellas and lamb shanks served in one night!
