Meet Dre, the Brooklyn-born chef who puts joy on the menu — every single time.

Chef Dre grew up in Brooklyn, surrounded by bodegas, big dreams, and the irresistible warmth of his grandmother's kitchen. From an early age, he understood something most people take years to figure out: the love and effort poured into a meal becomes something magical the moment it reaches someone's plate.

A proud graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, Dre carries with him a piece of advice from his mentor Vincenzo Lauria that has quietly shaped everything: "Never change." Safe to say, he took that to heart.

His cooking spans the full spectrum of comfort — from soul food that wraps you in a hug to bold, vibrant Thai and Asian flavors that make you sit up and pay attention.

He's hosted private three-course Thai-inspired dinners and earned a Master's Degree in Organizational Behavior along the way. Brains and braising, in equal measure.

For Dre, the kitchen is a full sensory experience — the sounds, the aromas, the energy of it all. That's what keeps him coming back. And his mission never wavers: make people smile, one delicious bite at a time.

When he's not cooking, you might find him leveling up in a video game, showing off his moves on the dance floor (salsa, bachata, kompa — he does it all), or twirling his cane like he's headlining a Broadway number. Still on his bucket list: cooking for someone famous and traveling to Tokyo and Trinidad & Tobago to experience their cuisines firsthand.
