Chef Mandy is not your average chef, she’s a certified nutritionist!

Mandy loves using food as medicine, cooking as zero-waste as possible by repurposing food scraps, and helping people make healthy choices while feeling pampered and nourished.

It’s pretty powerful to have such an impact on someone’s health and happiness. 

Mandy grew up in Bangor Maine, and she became interested in how much power our food choices have on our health when she began suffering her own debilitating digestive issues.  Her journey lead her to focusing on how to incorporate healthier foods,  feel connected to her body again, and heal her symptoms naturally.

Her goal became mastering the art of using food to heal, and a trip to Italy studying food and wine was life changing for her, teaching her the importance of quality ingredients to make exquisite food.  

Mandy loves the freedom of expression and creativity that comes with being in the kitchen,  taking simple ingredients and transforming them into a completely different experience. 

She also loves teaching others about the joy that comes with eating mindfully - focusing on your meal without distraction and experiencing flavor and texture like never before.

When it comes to favorite foods, Mandy loves all vegetables, especially root veggies, leafy greens, and cherry tomatoes.  She can eat pizza anytime (obviously), and always has about 5 different types of nut/seed butters in her cabinets!  You know what they say… a scoop of peanut butter a day keeps the doctor away! 

If you’re not sure about having Mandy in your kitchen yet, you should know  she was awarded Outstanding Student for her class in culinary school, and we’re pretty sure you would rate her the same way in your kitchen.  PLUS, she once had a client rave that her cooking was “like getting a warm hug after a crazy day at work.” AWW!

When she’s not in the kitchen, you’ll find Mandy rejuvenating her soul with a run in the woods, learning more about wellness and nutrition, or spending time with her cats, Moose and Millie!
