Hi! I'm Chef Jaclyn!

“Food is adventure — it’s how I turn curiosity into comfort and skeptics into believers.”

Cooking has always been my way of exploring the world and bringing people along for the ride. I love watching someone take that first bite of a dish they swore they didn’t like — and then immediately ask for seconds. For me, food is about joy, discovery, and creating moments that people remember.

My Style

My cooking is bold, comforting, and rooted in flavor-first thinking. I love taking familiar ingredients and giving them just enough creativity to make them exciting — like turning a lifelong Brussels sprouts skeptic into a full-blown fan with a hot oven and a little confidence.

Italian cuisine will always have my heart (ideally with a Dean Martin soundtrack playing), but I’m equally inspired by Mediterranean flavors. Greek, Spanish, and coastal influences regularly make their way into my kitchen, creating dishes that feel vibrant, satisfying, and full of life.

I believe food should be fun, generous, and made to be shared — with plenty of laughter along the way.

My Story

I grew up in Tampa, Florida, learning my way around the kitchen in my Nana’s home — spatula in hand and curiosity leading the way. Those early days sparked a love for cooking that would eventually take me far beyond Florida, including formative time in Park City, Utah, where my culinary journey continued to evolve.

Throughout my career, I’ve been proud to break barriers, including becoming the first female line cook in a prestigious restaurant group. While the accolades have meant a lot, what matters most to me is the ability to share my passion for food with others and make people feel welcome at the table.

Cooking has always been about connection for me — using food to bring people together, challenge expectations, and create moments of joy.

 

Beyond the Kitchen

When I’m not cooking, you’ll usually find me outside — hiking trails, shredding slopes, and chasing my next adventure. I draw inspiration from movement, nature, and the places I explore.

No matter where I go, one thing stays the same: my kitchen is always open — ready to serve up laughter, love, and a whole lot of deliciousness.

At Tiny Spoon, we spend a lot of time talking about relationships because we think that’s where the “special sauce” is. To us, there’s nothing better than pulling up a stool in the kitchen, steeping in solid conversation with someone fab and grabbing a bite of that perfect thing you didn’t know you wanted mingling with your taste buds.

Our passion for our clients goes beyond just knowing what soup or salad you’d most like!
