Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, her culinary journey began at just eight years old, thanks to her grandfather. Never one for organized sports, she spent her time in the kitchen alongside her grandpa, lending a hand with the family catering business and learning the foundations of cooking along the way. Those early experiences sparked a passion that would eventually lead her to some incredible opportunities.
Ask her about her favorite food, and the answer is easy: chicken wings. She loves them so much that, given the choice, she jokes she’d come back as a chicken wing in another life. But her relationship with food goes beyond what’s on the plate. The kitchen is her happy place—a space where she finds peace, lets her creativity take over, and gets to do what she loves most.
That passion has taken her far beyond the kitchen at home. One of her most memorable career moments came when she received an unexpected call asking her to cook for Usher during his R&B tour with Chris Brown. The experience was especially surreal because she had actually attended the show as a fan. Going from watching the performance in the audience to cooking behind the scenes was the kind of full-circle moment that makes all the hard work worthwhile.
Over the years, she has also had the opportunity to cook for an impressive lineup of artists, athletes, and entertainers, including The O’Jays, The Rolling Stones, Jamie Foxx, and Paige Bueckers. For three years, she also cooked for the Dallas Mavericks basketball team and staff, adding another standout chapter to an already memorable culinary career.
Despite the excitement of cooking for well-known names, she keeps things refreshingly simple outside of work. She’s a self-proclaimed homebody who is perfectly content curled up in bed, binge-watching her favorite shows with a slushie in hand. When she does dream about traveling, Amsterdam and Singapore are at the top of her list—two destinations she’s wanted to visit since childhood to immerse herself in their unique food cultures and discover new flavors firsthand.
And when it comes to her personal philosophy? She believes in keeping life uncomplicated, staying in her own lane, and not getting caught up in things that don't concern her. Her signature catchphrase says it all: “That doesn’t have anything to do with me.”
Whether she’s cooking for a superstar, creating a new favorite dish, or helping someone discover they actually love the food they once swore they hated, she brings creativity, confidence, and a genuine love for the craft to everything she does. For her, great cooking is about more than making a meal—it’s about changing perspectives, creating experiences, and letting the food speak for itself.
