“I believe that food is the universal language that can bring joy and happiness to anyone's life.”

Get ready to meet another amazing member of the Tiny Spoon Chef team! She's a multi-talented chef who knows exactly how to bring joy (and yummy dishes) into your life. Hailing from beautiful Beaufort, South Carolina, she was taught at an early age the importance of home-cooked meals and the ability of food to serve as a universal language of love. Of course, her curiosity pushed her past the traditional Southern cuisine she was used to - it eventually led her all the way to Johnson & Wales University, where she presented a mock restaurant project that still has her mom beaming with pride 19 years later!

Her special love for Asian cuisine is what really gets her going - it's enough to make anyone want to break out in a "happy dance" - and luckily for us, she comes with great experience from Whole Foods Market. There, surrounded by cultural influences from around the world, she learned recipes that would eventually become part of her expansive repertoire - which is now why she is one of our absolute best additions to Team Tiny.

And when she's not in the kitchen? Don't let this chef fool ya; she can also belt out some tunes (it's a hidden talent), craft greeting cards, and enjoys watching some classic Anime...she likes to remind those around her that “The more you know, the more you can create!”

A career highlight for this chef would be having the opportunity to work in the educational field. Teaching culinary arts to students sure was a fascinating journey for Lenora. Seeing the light bulb go off in students’ minds as they figure out why techniques work as they do was very rewarding.

OH, and did we mention that she has baked cookies for none other than the former First Lady Michelle Obama? No big deal. (JK, that is a huge deal, am I right?)

“When I am in the kitchen, the smells are my favorite part. I love the way the aromas mingle together, creating a symphony for the nose.”
