Hi! I'm Edwin!

Leave it better than you found it.

That's my personal motto — and it applies to pretty much everything I do, from the woodworking project in my garage to the people I get to connect with every day at Tiny Spoon.

My Food Life

Food has always meant connection to me. Growing up on the North Shore of Massachusetts, I developed a real love for traditional Filipino home cooking — the flavors, yes, but also the memories and culture and family it carries with it. Beyond that, I'm drawn to fresh seafood, fresh vegetables, minimalist cooking, and anything made over an open fire. Simple, intentional, and honest. That's my kind of meal.

My dream food adventure? A road trip across the entire country — every national park, every small town, every hole-in-the-wall that doesn't have a website. Because the best places to eat aren't always on a list. Sometimes you have to find them on foot.

My Story

My career started in restaurants before moving into Talent Acquisition, where I've had the opportunity to support at least 18 restaurant openings. Along the way I discovered what I love most about this work: learning people's stories, finding the passions underneath the experience, and helping create matches that genuinely open doors for someone's career.

My favorite story from early on: I was interviewing for a line-level position at a New York City restaurant and was told I lacked NYC experience. Instead of accepting that, I made them an offer — let me identify every fish at your sushi bar by name, in English and Japanese. They said yes. I got the job. I also made rent that month, which felt equally important at the time.

That same curiosity and determination is what I bring to connecting people with opportunities at Tiny Spoon every day.

Beyond the Work

When I'm not at my desk, I'm outside — camping, hiking, cooking over an open fire, or working on whatever woodworking project has my attention at the moment. I believe in leaving every place, every project, and every interaction a little better than I found it.

Chef day is such a relief.

"The fridge is stocked, and all we have to do is eat gorgeous healthy food and enjoy each other’s company."

Our focus is weekly meal service for you and your family.

At Tiny Spoon, we spend a lot of time talking about relationships because we think that’s where the “special sauce” is. To us, there’s nothing better than pulling up a stool in the kitchen, steeping in solid conversation with someone fab and grabbing a bite of that perfect thing you didn’t know you wanted mingling with your taste buds.

Our passion for our clients goes beyond just knowing what soup or salad you’d most like!

What are we getting at here? YOU are our "why".

Every day, every move, every decision revolves around our Tiny Spoon family.
