I grew up in a family where food was always the center of everything — and that's never really changed. Whether I'm on a call with a new client or in my own kitchen with everyone arguing about the best way to cook something, I'm happiest when people are gathered, comfortable, and well-fed.
My culinary wish list is very specific: perfectly seared scallops, a great crème brûlée, a watermelon and burrata salad with balsamic pearls, and honestly — all the cheese. All of it.
My most memorable food moment? A family trip to Italy, where a private chef introduced me to rabbit (which I was completely convinced was the best chicken I'd ever eaten), taught me to make homemade ravioli in an old kitchen overlooking the ocean, and served pizza from an oven built into the side of the house. The finale was a paint bucket of Nutella. I'll never fully recover and I don't want to.
Growing up in Huntsville, Alabama, I had a dad who took me hiking and cave exploring, followed by loose meat sandwiches and lemon meringue pie at Mullins. Family trips to New Orleans meant Grandmother's gumbo and soft shell crab at Uglesich's with an ice-cold IBC root beer. Food has always been how I remember the best moments of my life.
I've built a career around making people feel at ease — it's something I inherited from my mom and have leaned into ever since. I've coordinated massive industry events, worked with the Star Trek team at ComicCon, and even got a former company featured on Wheel of Fortune as a SCUBA diving prize sponsor. (Yes, really.) I'm the easy button — and I love being that for people.
When I'm not working, I'm with my family, whether that's on the beach at Longboat Key or tucked into a cabin in Colorado. Favorite places: Italy and California. Favorite soundtrack: whatever's playing in a full, chaotic kitchen.
