I love bringing people together through food and creating meals that make them feel at home. For me, cooking is about more than what’s on the plate; it’s about creating meaningful moments, sharing joy, and making people feel cared for. Every dish is prepared with curiosity, intention, and a genuine love for feeding others.
My culinary journey began in high school at a local bakery, where I discovered my passion for pastry. After culinary school, I spent nearly a decade in the pastry world while continuing to explore my love for savory cooking. During a study abroad in Florence, Italy, I earned bronze in the Italian Culinary Championship for a three-foot-tall chocolate sculpture inspired by Jack and the Beanstalk. This experience led to an invitation to cook for 120 guests at the James Beard House in New York City, where I had the honor of returning for a second time. These experiences continue to inspire my creativity, curiosity, and passion for learning in the kitchen.
My cooking is rooted in the joy of bringing people together. I love the creativity of pastry, the comfort of a good soup, and the endless possibilities of savory cooking. I’m always exploring new ingredients while drawing inspiration from familiar favorites, family traditions, and the memories made around the table.
Some of my earliest culinary memories are cooking alongside my grandmother, who encouraged my passion from the very beginning. From preparing my first multi-course meal with her to hosting Friendsgiving for friends, I’ve always found joy in sharing food with the people I love. Soup, especially, holds a special place in my heart as a family tradition and a way to show care.
For me, the kitchen is about more than food. It’s about the sights, sounds, and satisfaction of creating something meaningful. Whether cooking in a client’s home or preparing a meal for a gathering, the kitchen is where I feel most at home.
I grew up in Lynnfield, Massachusetts, in my mother’s childhood home, sharing the same bedroom she grew up in. Family has always been central to my life and continues to inspire the way I cook and host. Throughout my culinary career, I’ve had the opportunity to prepare private dinners for members of the New England Patriots organization, where even simple, healthy meals left room for a sweet favorite: éclairs!
Outside the kitchen, I enjoy spending time with my three cats, visiting my sister, thrifting with friends, and traveling. Florence, Italy, and Barcelona, Spain, are two of my favorite places, and I’m always dreaming of my next adventure.
At heart, I love bringing people together through food. From the planning to the final details, cooking is how I connect with others and create meaningful memories. Known as Chefanie, I’m happiest in the kitchen and love sharing that happiness with others.
I’m happiest in the kitchen, so let me bring some of that happiness into your home.
"The fridge is stocked, and all we have to do is eat gorgeous healthy food and enjoy each other’s company."

At Tiny Spoon, we spend a lot of time talking about relationships because we think that’s where the “special sauce” is. To us, there’s nothing better than pulling up a stool in the kitchen, steeping in solid conversation with someone fab and grabbing a bite of that perfect thing you didn’t know you wanted mingling with your taste buds.
